Concert of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio conducted by Anna Mróz on 10th March 2013 will be a special dedication for women to celebrate their holiday.
Composition "... from the Gulf of San Francisco" of Barbara Kaszuba is the result of an unusual fascination of two things: prose of Czesław Miłosz and the Composer's memories of her stay in Woodside, California.
"Les Illuminations" by Benjamin Britten is a series of 10 miniatures for voice and string orchestra, written for French texts of Artur Rimbaud. On Sunday evening, the beautiful composition will be performed by the great singer, soloist of the State Opera in Hannover - Anna Vegry. Anna Vegry is a laureate of numerous competitions, including the Paula-Salomon-Lindbergh Competition 2005 and the Berlin National Song Contest, where she was awarded 2nd prize.
"Symphony No. 10 op.98" of Mieczyslaw Weinberg is a real masterpiece for string orchestra !
We cordially invite you to this real musical feast !
