With a minute's silence, Polish parliament paid tribute to Anna Radziwiłł, former Education Minister, who passed away this morning.
Anna Radziwiłł was a member of the Solidarity freedom movement since 1980. She was the head of a group of experts who negotiated changes in the history curriculum.
In the democratic elections in June 1989, she was elected to the Senate. Between 1989 and 1992, she was the undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Education.
