Poland will try to win some high posts in the European Union, confirmed Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, following media information, that the country may be trying to place a Polish person in the post of EU diplomacy chief.
'I created a special unit at the foreign affairs ministry human resources department, whose basic task is to promote Poles at international institutions,' said Poland's FM.
Piotr Kaczynski of the European Institute of Political Studies evaluates Poland's chances as high. He said we might aspire to head NATO, the European Parliament, or to have a Pole as deputy head of the European Commission.
