An ecumenical Way of the Cross will be held tonight in Łódź, the city known for its interculturalism.
Six Christian communities will take part in the service. Szymon Malinowski, of the Catholic Youth Association is with the organizers of the event: "It doesn't happen often that several thousand Christians can pray at one place and one time, not only for the unity of Christians. We want to pray especially for the city of Łódź and its inhabitants, but also to follow Christ, to show our choice of God to guide our lives."
The Cross will be carried from station to station by teachers, doctors, lawyers, journalists and representatives of other professions.
