A colorful horse parade has crossed Warsaw’s city center marking 70 years of the famous Sluzewiec race track.
Taking part in the event along the so-called Royal Route in the Polish capital were not only regular jockeys and their prize winning thoroughbreds, but also riders dressed in cavalry uniforms of various historical periods. Personalities connected with the Sluzewiec race track and people merited in its service were honored with places in horse drawn carriages specially decorated for the gala.
Additionally, a show of horse riding skills has been an attraction for kids and adults on the premises of the Sluzewiec field itself, located in the southern district of Warsaw.
