Twenty seven-year-old Rafal J. admitted having murdered his 52-year-old German teacher and wounded her 78-year-old mother with an axe.
The man was arrested last week and interrogated on Monday. The man is accused of murder and attempted murder. During the interrogation, Rafal J. confessed to the crime and may face 25 years imprisonment or a life sentence.
Rafal J. suffers from schizophrenia. Psychiatrists will decide if he was of sane mind at the time of committing the crime.
The murder happened in the southern town of Radomsko. The young man visited his 52-year-old German teacher and, after a fierce argument, killed her with an axe and wounded her 78-year-old mother. After the murder, he tried to flee to Denmark. Rafal J. was caught after a driver reported that he was on board his coach.
