An Alsatian by the name of Ramzes has become a celebrity in Poland after he went to the police when he got lost.
Officers at a police station in the locality of Wielun said that the Alsatian came into the station’s waiting room and sat down.
They realized that some days earlier the dog’s owner had reported his loss at the same station. She said that the dog had leaped out of her car after the back door accidentally opened. She and her family had searched the town but failed to find Ramzes.
Dog specialists are now considering whether the Alsatian had followed his nose to the station – or reported in because his own father had once been a police dog. (EK)
