Jan Wejchert, founder and president of the ITI Group has died at the age of 59.

He was the founder of TVN and TVN 24 TV stations and also a co-owner of the Onet, satellite platform, "n" Multikino and the Legia Warszawa football club.

He died suddenly after bacterial infection set in after a heart attack.  Since 1993 Wejchert has struggled with to overcome leukaemia. (pg)
