Equality for deaf and hearing impaired

Organisers of the sixth edition of the days of Equality and Tolerance in Poznan are holding special workshops on dialogue with the deaf and hearing impaired.

 

The workshops in today’s programme are devoted to sign language  which aim at the symbolic breaking of communication barriers

 

The days for Equality and Tolernace are organised in Poznan as a tribute to the UNESCO International Day for Tolerance, which is celebrated in November.

 

The organisers focus on such fundamental values as equality , tolerance ad respect for diversity  through meetings, workshops, discussions and  films prepared for the five day event. The days for equality and tolerance wind up this Sunday. The culminating point is the march of equality, which is to pass through the city of Poznan on Saturday afternoon. (ab)
