Poles get a church marriage annulment more often than any other nation except Italians, shows a Vatican statistical year book.
Every year, Poles file an average of 3,500 petitions at ecclesiastical courts to annul marriages.
Last year, the number increased to record-breaking 10,000 petitions. At the moment, the Metropolitan Court in the southern city of Krakow is trying 200 cases. (mg/mmj)
