One in three voters are still undecided who they will vote for in September’s presidential elections, finds the latest poll by PBS DGA.
Of those who say they do already have a preference, if given a choice between Prime Minister Donald Tusk and incumbent president Lech Kaczynski – the probable composition of a second round run-ff – the premier who win by 69 to 31 percent.
Kaczynski would also lose in a second round between other candidates who have declared they will be running for president – the president would lose to Democratic Party’s Andrzej Olechowski by 68 to 32 percent and SLD’s Jerzy Szmajdzinski by 66 to 34 percent.
The PBS DGA poll was conducted on 8 to 10 January from a sample of 958 people. (mg/pg)
