Retired Metropolitan of Gdansk Tadeusz Goclowski has suffered a stroke, though doctors say his life is not in danger.

Goclowski, one of Poland’s top religious figures, is currently being cared for at the department of neurology in the University Medical Centre in Gdansk.

“The Archbishop is in a stable state,” Tadeusz Jedrzejczyk of the Medical Academy in Gdansk told TVP Info.
