Bronislaw Komorowski lost 5 percentage points in the last seven days, according to a new poll, but still maintains a 15 percent lead over rival Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
Komorowski would receive 48 percent of the national vote if the June 20 election were held this weekend, according to a poll by PBS DGA, with Jaroslaw Kaczynski on 33 percent.
In third place remains Grzegorz Napieralski on eight percent.
In a second round head-to-head, with only two candidates remaining Komorowski would beat Kaczynski by 64 to 36 percent, meaning that the Civic Platform candidate and acting president would receive 80 percent of the votes originally cast for other candidates.
The survey was commissioned by Gazeta Wyborcza on 28 - 30 May from a representative sample of 1,013 people. (pg)
