Polish Radio’s English section invites you to check out our Poland Decides: Election Night Special coverage from 20.00 CET onwards on June 20, with a live audio stream at 21.30 CET.
As the polling stations close at 20.00 CET we will have the latest exit polls which will reveal whether any candidate got an outright majority of votes which would take him – and it will be a he, as there are no females on the ballot papers – straight to the Presidential Palace.
Or if no candidate gets more than 50 percent of the nationwide vote then a second round between the top two candidates will be held on July 4.
At 21.30 CET hear our live audio streamed (which you can access from the top right hand side of our home page) Election Night Special broadcast, presented by John Beauchamp and Peter Gentle where we will have pundits trying to make sense of the results, vox pops from outside polling stations and all the latest presidential election news.
We also urge you to join in the election coverage by posting your comments and views on the results and the campaign in general.
So see you Sunday night for all the latest on how Poland decides on who will be the next resident of the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. Until then keep in touch with the final days of the campaign and the last opinion polls at our special Poland Decides election web pages. (pg)
