A wife of a BOR government protection officer, who was killed in the Smolensk air crash on April 10, has filed a law suit for greater compensation after she received just 140,000 zloty.
According to media reports, 1.5 million zloty (370,000 euro) is half the amount that Marta, daughter of Maria and Lech Kaczynski, received in amends.
The lawyer representing the deceased BOR officer’s wife told Dziennik Gazeta Prawna “why should the anguish of the presidential couple’s daughter be any more important than the suffering of the wife and baby daughter of the officer?”
The 1.5 million zloty compensation includes the sum already received by the grieving wife. The claim against the State Treasury was filed today at the courts in Warsaw. (jb)
