Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, head of Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s presidential campaign, may be offered the PiS leadership or a post in the presidential chancellery if Kaczynski comes to power on July 4.
Media reports that the Law and Justice (PiS) party is questioning whether presidential hopeful Jaroslaw Kaczynski should announce Kluzik-Rostkowska as head of the presidential chancellery if the hopeful would win the election run-off.
An anonymous PiS member has said that Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s victory would be largely thanks to Kluzik-Rostkowska’s efforts throughout the presidential race.
There is also talk among PiS members that Kluzik-Rostkowska may become head of the party if Kaczynski were to win the elections in July. “Thanks to her the party would have a real chance to embrace a larger electorate and break the 30-percent barrier,” a party informant has said. (jb)
