From 00.00 CET Friday night, Saturday morning, Poland enters ‘pre-election silence’, when campaigning stops so Poles can have a period of calm to make their choice as to who will be the fourth president of Poland since the fall of communism in 1989.

The web page will offer regular updates by John Beauchamp and Peter Gentle of turnout throughout the day on Sunday as data is released by the National Election Commission. After 20.00 CET these updates will come every ten minutes or so as we get more information on the exit polls, more information from the election commission and reaction from both campaign teams.
