Get ready for Polish Radio’s election day coverage

02.07.2010

At 20.00 CET Sunday, as polling stations close, we will have the latest exit polls predicting who will be Poland’s next head of state. At 21.30 00 CET tune in or log on to our special Poland Decides 2010 English language broadcast.

From 00.00 CET Friday night, Saturday morning, Poland enters ‘pre-election silence’, when campaigning stops so Poles can have a period of calm to make their choice as to who will be the fourth president of Poland since the fall of communism in 1989.

Will it be Jaroslaw Kaczynski or Bronislaw Komorowski? Make sure you join us Sunday evening for all the latest exit polls, early official results, turnout and reactions from pundits.

Join Michal Kubicki and Slawek Szefs for live audio from 21.30 CET onwards, streaming of which can be accessed via the home page.

The web page will offer regular updates by John Beauchamp and Peter Gentle of turnout throughout the day on Sunday as data is released by the National Election Commission. After 20.00 CET these updates will come every ten minutes or so as we get more information on the exit polls, more information from the election commission and reaction from both campaign teams.

We also encourage you to join the debate by giving your opinions in the comment box below the main report from 8 pm, Sunday, onwards. See you then. (pg)
