Two climbers have died in the Tatra mountains, southern Poland, in just two days, says rescuers.
Last night, a body of a Czech tourist was found in Wyzni Czarnostawinski Kociol on the mountain trail which leads to Rysy, the highest mountain peak in Poland.
Yesterday, mountain rescuers found a body of a 50-year old Pole in the Slovak Tatra Mountains near Rysy. The man was last seen on Saturday evening in a nearby.
Rescue teams say heavy rain in the area has made climbing and walking treacherous and ask for extreme caution when out and about on the slopes. (mg)
