Vocalist Bobby McFerrin was Warsaw, Tuesday night, with a concert of Chopin music.

The American vocalist gave the gig as part of the sixth International Festival “Chopin and His Europe” and appearing with the NDR Big Band.

Bobby McFerrin said this was a fresh experience for him, as he never before had the opportunity of matching his vocal skills with works of the great Polish composer. He admitted preparations for the concert have been a tremendous challenge.

McFerrin has already been to Poland on several occasions with short concerts which have won him a sizeable audience of devoted fans. (ss)
