Police are looking for man in southern Poland who stabbed a 12 year-old girl three times after stealing her mobile phone.
The mugging of the child occurred in Jablonka, Podkarpackie province, on Sunday. The girl is in hospital but her life is not in danger, informed Marta Tabasz, spokeswoman from the local police force.
The 12 year-old was attacked when out riding her bicycle. A man approached her, demanded her mobile phone and money, stabbed her and then fled.
Police warn that if the public know of the whereabouts of the man then he should not be approached but to pass on any information to the police. (pg)
