Seven fire fighters from Poznań, western Poland, have decided that they’ve had enough with the situation in the city and have formally set up an election committee to the local government elections in November. The group of fire fighters say that they are fed up with money wasting, absurd decisions, investment and organisational failures of city authorities, including failure to prepare against the coming flood wave in the summer.
The group, konieclaniawody.pl, made up of six men and one woman, plan an official press conference this Thursday.
They are already promoting themselves on the internet, and have recently started a poster campaign in Poznań.
