The sixth Free Form Festival of Contemporary Music and Visual Arts kicks off in Poland’s capital today, Friday.
Concerts at the festival take place in post-industrial sites, with this year’s programme taking place in the Koneser factory in Warsaw’s Praga district.
A number of top global artists are to play at this year’s edition, including Goldfrapp, as well as DJ Krush, an ex-gangster turned professional DJ from Japan.
Saturday is devoted to the Ninja Tune record label, which is currently celebrating twenty years of existence. Both of the label’s founders, Matt Black and Jonathan More, better known as Coldcut, will be in Warsaw for the occasion.
Igor Boxx, one of the founders of Skalpel, the only Polish group to be signed to the label, will also perform a set from his new BRESLAU project. (jb)
