The funeral of 18 victims of Tuesday’s head on road crash between a mini-van and a lorry killing 18 was held Drzewica, near the central city of Lodz on Saturday. A mass was held celebrated by the bishop of the Radom dioceses Henryk Tomasik. Later the funeral procession left for the local cemetery.
Coffins with the bodies of the two remaining victims were transported to two other cemeteries with police escort.
On Tuesday a bus carrying 18 people crashed with a lorry. All the passengers were killed , the truck driver was wounded.
