Police are investigating why a parked Audi A6 exploded in a street in the village of Komorniki, around five kilometres from the city of Poznan, western Poland.Andrzej Borowiak, spokesman for the Wielkopolska police force told Polish Radio that nobody was injured in the explosion, but several cars parked in the vicinity of the luxury Audi were damaged.
The owner of the car is now helping police with their enquiries.
The explosion occurred at around 02.00 CET in Storczykowa street when a bomb, planted under the vehicle exploded. Police have yet to ascertain who planted the device, how big it was and why it was detonated.
