One of the three key rebels within Law and Justice (PiS), Ludwik Dorn told Polish Radio 1 on Thursday that himself and the other two PiS nonconformists Paweł Zalewski (former party deputy chairman) and Kazimierz Ujazdowski (former party deputy head and ex-minister of culture) postulated internal reforms within PiS.
The three party ex-leaders were still concerned about the party’s future, regardless of the differences of opinions on Radosław Sikorski, former defence minister in Kaczyński’s cabinet, currently Civic Platform’s foreign minister.
Dorn, former speaker of the Sejm told the Polish Radio that he wanted to stay in Law and Justice and voiced his concern about the party’s future saying that PiS was in danger of being marginalised.
In order to prevent that, as well as to constitute an effective opposition to the ruling PO, the party needed to address a variety of political issues.
“Law and Justice mustn’t be a closed party where decisions are made in an adjutant-praetorian fashion", Ludwig Dorn said. (mj)
