In a phone conversation, Iwan Wasyniuk informed the Polish sports minister of the newly established governmental Coordinating Bureau which is to take over the organisation of the championships in Ukraine after the liquidated National Agency for Euro 2012. The agency was highly criticised by the UEFA for indolence and inefficiency.
Drzewiecki assured that common organisation of the championships is one of the top priorities of the government in Poland. He underlined that Poland will make every effort to make the championships a success. Drzewiecki will soon be leaving for Ukraine to meet with the Ukrainian deputy premier for further talks concerning the joint organisation of the Euro 2012.
