The weekend saw hundreds of students fill Kraków’s Main Market Square for an feathery event of epic proportions.

On a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon hundreds of students from Kraków’s main universities turned out in force to take part in World Pillow Fight Day – an event that was billed in many cities the world over. The southern city’s Main Market Square was filled to the brim with students from three universities: the Jagiellonian, the AGH University of Mining and Technology, as well as the University of Economics. A fourth team was also formed from the Krakow Polytechnic: yet no matter which team students were in: it was about making feathers fly, and, after all, to have a good time…
