When Poland joined the European Union five years ago it was the biggest enlargement in the European history.
Polish Radio correspondent in Brussels Beata Płomecka spoke to Mr. Barroso shortly before his arrival to Poland's capital for the European People's Party Congress. She asked him first whether the EU of 25 and then of 27 member states was able to function properly.
