Poles pessimistic about economy, job market

Five years after the country joined the European Union, Poles are as pessimistic about the country's economic situation, as they had been right before Poland joined the bloc, in the times of the highly unpopular ex-communist Democratic Left Alliance government.

Poles have even less hopes for the ailing job market now. All this is according to a research commissioned by the European Commission published in the "Rzeczpospolita daily". So, has European Union fulfilled its promise of flourishing economy and thriving job market?
