Aurora cruiser flying under the British flag called at the Baltic port of Gdynia over the weekend, inaugurating the 2009 cruise season in the Baltic.
Michal Kubicki reports
We talk to the President of the Gdynia Port Authority, Janusz Jarosinski. Twenty seven units under the flag of eleven countries are expected in Gdynia this season.
The most frequent guest is going to be Zenith, with eighteen calls, followed by Emerald Princess, under the flag of Bermuda, with 13 arrivals and AIDA Luna with ten. The latter is a brand new unit, placed in service only a few months ago. 252 metres long and 32 metres wide, with 13 decks, 1025 cabins for passengers and 404 cabins for the crew, it will surely be a major attraction to all visitors to the port of Gdynia.
The other impressive cruisers to call at Gdynia this season include Costa Mediterranea, measuring 292 metres.
