Smart drugs - a growing concern

29.06.2009

Forget about marijuana or amphetamines, legal “smart drugs” in Poland are becoming a potential threat to public health

John Beauchamp reports

Recently the UN released its annual report on the use of illicit drugs as well as their production across the globe. While figures in Poland for drug use remain stable, Poland is still a major producer of amphetamines, with the country being placed 8th in Europe for amphetamine busts by the police, outstripping France and Norway.
