Summer travelling results in more cases of AH1N1 in Poland
Agnieszka Bielawska reports
Five patients who were suspected of being infected with the AH1N1 virus have left the hospital in the central city of Lodz. Altogether there are 29 patients still under observation in the hospital. All had returned from holidays in the Spanish resort Loret del Mar.
There is no need for panic inform medical service, since the cases now concern suspicion of AH1N1 presence. It does not change much in the epidemic situation in the country . It is expected that the autumn months may see an outbreak of the flu in Poland. However the end of summer vacations and a massive comeback from foreign travels will not be the cause. Autumn is flu season and we may experience a situation which is already present in the southern hemisphere.
