The first verdict in a lawsuit filed against an employer for discriminating a worker infected with HIV in Poland could change the situation of the several thousand HIV/AIDS-positive people in the country.

Tomasz, who was infected three years ago and has been discharged from a corporation because of his disease is now waiting for a decision soon to be reached by the Constitutional Tribunal. Yet an unfavourable verdict will not stop him from continuing his battle against discrimination.
