Poles have become pro-European and much less enthusiastic about the United States while their support for NATO is waning - shows the latest survey on transatlantic trends conducted by the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Its publication comes after Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said in a press interview that this country should acquire a realistic outlook on its relations with Washington and face the fact that it is a regional and not strategic ally of the United States. Are Poland and the United States gradually drifting apart or is it just a lesson in realism for this country?
