Less than a thousand days before the opening match of EURO 2012 Polish authorities are satisfied with the progress made by four cities in preparations to host the event.
Danuta Isler reports.
UEFA voiced concerns in the past about the cities ability to build and upgrade stadia, hotels and transport infrastructure but those concerns have largely subsided. The four host-cities are in different stages of preparations.
The most advanced is Poland's capital which will host the opening match of the tournament and the western Poznan where the construction of the stadium is to be completed next year. Their representatives hold regular meetings to coordinate their work. Next week they are to meet with UEFA in Warsaw to discuss details of the organisational process which will last for the next two years.
