There has been a wide range of publications commemorating the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of WWII in Poland this month. The latest is a multimedia publication which includes a board game, a CD and an informative booklet aimed at promoting Polish history and music.
In the game the players travel through European history from the moment of the outbreak of WW II to the fall of communism in Poland in 1989 and the Round Table talks between the opposition and the communist regime. The accompanying soundtrack " I'll meet you in Poland Baby" was inspired by a song, under the same title, of an Australian artist James George Thirlwell known also as Foetus in which he refers to the events of September 1939 in Poland.
Some one thousand copies of the project have been published, half of them are to hit Polish stands, while the rest, in English language version, is to be distributed abroad.
