In a documentary by young Polish filmmakers British DJ Jem Panufnik follows in the footsteps of his Polish-born father, composer Andrzej Panufnik.

Born in Warsaw in 1914,  Andrzej Panufnik was one of the greatest 20th-century composers.  He was forty and at the height of his career when, during the Stalinist period, he decided to defect from Poland. He settled in Britain and lived there until his death in 1991. 
Krzysztof Rzączyński’s film ‘My Father, the Iron Curtain and Me’it looks at his life and career through the eyes of his son, Jem,  DJ, composer and co-founder of dance music label  Finger Lickin’.
