Close on 2, 000 events are planned in Poland and abroad to mark next year’s bicentenary of Chopin’s birth.

Chopin was born in  Zelazowa Wola, some fifty kilometers west of Warsaw, and baptized in the nearby Brochow. The Zelazowa Wola manor and the parish church in Brochow have been given a face-lift.  Investment projects also include a thoroughly refurbished Chopin Museum and a Chopin Centre. All this in addition to special concerts and recitals in all corners of the globe.
