As the whole world seems to be occupied with the World Cup, Poland and Ukraine are toiling away at Euro2012 preparations, hoping for both short- and long-term benefits.

A team of economists have released a new report which estimates that Poland can expect a 2.1 percent increase in GDP growth over a 13-year period, due solely to the tournament.
