The body of General Władysław Sikorski, who died tragically in 1943, has been exhumed in the southern city of Kraków.

The decision which was announced recently to check the mortal remains of one of Poland's most revered world war two generals, Władysław Sikorski, was followed up today in the southern city of Kraków with the exhumation of the general's body. With permission from the Curate in the city, historians and scientists will be given another chance to get to the bottom of the General Sikorski's untimely death in Gibraltar in 1943.
