On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Lech Wałęsa’s Nobel Peace Prize, around 200 students from 44 countries have descended upon the city of Kraków, southern Poland, where their journey on ‘The Solidarity Express’ will begin on Tuesday. Over the next four days the young visitors will travel by train from Kraków to Gdańsk. John Beauchamp, our correspondent in Kraków, has this report.
