A Week of Polish Culture is half-way thought in Toulousse in southern France.
An annual event, it is this year dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin, as a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
The programme includes Chopin recitals by the American pianist Kevin Kenner, a prizewinner of the 1990 Chopin Competition in Warsaw, and Polish jazz pianist Leszek Możdżer. There is also a wide range of exhibitions, film shows, theatre performances and academic sessions. (mk)
