Jack White’s The Death Weather and Fatboy Slim are the latest to sign up for the Heineken Open'er festival this summer in Poland.
Jack White, better known as guitarist and singer of the White Stripes, will return for his third appearance at the festival, which takes place this year from 1-4 July in Gdynia, northern Poland. One of Europe’s top open air festivals will close with a set by Fatboy Slim, who rose to prominence in the UK on the wave of Big Beat dance music in the second half of the 1990s.
The Dead Weather and Fatboy Slim join an impressive list of international artists which includes Pearl Jam, Kasabian, Tinariwen, Mando Diao, Gorillaz Sound System, Grace Jones, The Hives, Ben Harper, Klaxons, Matisyahu, Nas & Damian Marley, Tricky, Empire of the Sun, Groove Armada, Kings of Convenience, Skunk Anansie and Cypress Hill.
