Poland’s oldest organ festival – the International Festival of Organ Music - launches today in the Gdańsk suburb of Oliwa.
This is the 53rd edition of the event, this year featuring 19 concerts by artists from Finland, Britain, Slovakia, Germany, Mexico, Belgium, Russia and Ukraine as well as Poland.
Organizer of the festival is Roman Perucki, whose recital opens the festival tonight with the accompaniment of the Orchestra of the Baltic Philharmonic conducted by Jacek Delekta. (ek)
