A new exhibition in the western town of Jelenia Gora presents a review of some of Poland’s best comic illustrators, both old and young.
The exhibition of contemporary Polish illustration is in the style of “realist comics”, and comprises a number of artists working within the genre.
Artists which have been invited to the project were asked to create comics which are subliminal both graphically and in terms of narration, which break the bounds of traditional story-telling.
The exhibition kicks off in Jelenia Gora on 6 August. More information can be found here. (jb)
