David Prowse, aka Darth Vader, is the guest of a giant national and international convention for Star Wars fans, organised this weekend in the city of Bydgoszcz, northern Poland.

Entitled StarForce 2010, the event is being held at the Opera Nova convention centre and Młyńska island, and is the biggest annual gathering of fans of the film saga in Poland.

This year’s edition celebrates the 30th anniversary of the fifth episode of the saga – The Empire Strikes Back: StarForce 2009 was voted Event of the Year in Poland. (ek)
