  • 26.10.2010

The 4th Five Flavours Festival, showcasing Southeast Asian cinema, begins in Warsaw tonight.

The programme of the festival includes the screenings of 23 feature films, 12 of which are shown for the first time in Poland. The productions have been divided into three categories, Taste of Korea, Focus: Singapore and New Asian Cinema.

This year’s special guest is Singaporean filmmaker Ho Tzu Nyen, who made his debut as film director last year, with the film Here.

The upcoming weekend will see two sideline events, The Vagabond Travel Festival and the Asian Travel Fair.

All the film screenings are to be held at Warsaw’s Muranów and Kino.Lab cinemas. The festival winds up on 1 November, and will then travel to Kraków, Katowice and Poznań. (ab)
