Just a reminder of some of the rules and conditions when posting comments under stories on thenews.pl…

The comments that you post here are moderated. That means they will not appear on the web site until seen and approved by editorial staff.

I remind you of this as many people post a comment, click the submit box and then, when they can’t see the comment immediately under the story, start clicking submit again and again. This results in identical versions of the same comment waiting to be moderated.

You do not need to click the submit button several times. Once is enough and it will be moderated in due course. Promise!

Sometimes there will be a delay of several hours  - during the evening and at weekends - before comments are moderated. This is due to the small editorial team we have working on thenews.pl….and we have to sleep, too!

Other rules

1. Vulgarity, potentially libellous statements or racist insults etc will not be published after moderation.
2. Comments not in English will also not be published.
3. Comments longer than around 100 words will be cut off by the software - keep comments short and to the point.
