Nineteen year-old violinist Marzena Malinowska and 33 year-old viola player Marta Lutrzykowska have qualified to take part in the YouTube Symphony Orchestra concert broadcast live on the web site in March.

The two musicians have been selected by an international jury from 300 finalists representing 46 countries.

A total of 101 musicians, both professionals and amateurs, aged between 14 and 49, will get together in Sydney on 14 March for a week of rehearsals. The final concert on 20 March will be watched on YouTube by millions of music lovers around the world. (mk)
