Jaroslaw Kaczynski kicks off his presidential bid today with a Law and Justice convention in Warsaw.
The campaign’s slogan, “Let’s be together”, will be promoted at the convention, which will host a keynote speech by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, his first public appearance in his presidential campaign.
The flood has forced campaign organisers to rethink their strategy, and the convention will mostly consist of a concert in aid of the flood victims.
Pawel Poncyliusz, head of Kaczynski’s election campaign, told journalists that Kaczynski will deliver a shorter speech than was planned, and will mainly refer to the situation which Poland finds itself in at the moment. (jb)
